Thanks friends (^_^) You're all welcome.

After their own adventures in the real jungle around my contry,
Steve & Dr Larry were able to survive back to Bangkok again.
So, I pleased them with an amazing trip at Nong Nooch Tropical & Botanical Garden, in Pattaya, east coast of Thailand.

The place could be one of the finest plant collection on the earth....Let's see

As Kerry's mention, LOL..that's not a miniature garden, it' real scale!

An amazing 'garden of eden'...everything just looks so perfect, how do they keep it that way? Love the Stonehenge replica & those Bismarck palms are fantastic...wish we could grow those here.

i wonder - are the huge bottle trees still alive? i hear they are slowly dying -

RE: Steve & Dr Larry 's Bromeliad trips in Thailand Part II

Yep...Devo, you will not surprise if you realized that they use 2,000 workers
with about 10 millions bucks per month to keep their garden such beautiful.

Yes Asianhort8, sadly that the Bottle Trees do love to grow in drier climate,
most of them slowy rotten away. I saw only one from ten alive.

Well, back to our trip...
Some more nice landscapes in the garden.

From the garden's resort we can see the 'Ant Tower' up to the big tree.

Steph!!! Your pics are normally excellent but you have outdone yourself with this batch from Nong Nooch!!! Awesome, all the colour has been a visual over-load. Some of the Crypts as stunning and looks like I have way too few varieties in my garden and will have to get some more..

Thanks again.

Many thanks for sharing all these great images of Nong Nooch with us all. Brings back memories of our trip there last June. Simply a amazing place. The giant replica ants interested us. Heres some pics

Love the N 'Shelldance'. Glad to see some of the guests are finally wearing shorts !! with a sweltering 30 + how could they be wearing longs in Bangkok ?? By the way one thing we picked up on is the broms are all mist sprayed from over head sprinkler system every minute keeping them and us from drying out. Keeping the leaves moist helps stop the heat stress.

RE: Steve & Dr Larry 's Bromeliad trips in Thailand Part II

Simply magnificent. You should get hired by the National Geographic Society. I used to think that being a greenskeeper at a golf course would be a tedious job, but after I saw those first photos....
Chanin, in your last photo, the Navia the fellow 's holding, do you know if that is N. tentacula? Thanks again for all these photos!!!
