That fern is called crocodile fern down here !!
Its a Microsorium I think , been put into TC and should be easily gotten .

Thanks for the photos Bob. So it seems that the 'yellow' form and the 'orange' form aren't so terribly different after all! Good luck getting seeds. John, I wish that it selfed. Perhaps there's clonal variation there, too, but my specimen has proven to be self- infertile. I did get a couple of ripe berries so far, but they were crossed with a Nidularium. The offspring could be kind of weird, but as I couldn't really visualize the outcome, I figured... what the heck?!
It would have been nice to have a flowering Ae. orlandiana around. I know that cross has been done (maybe by Lisa?). Very cool foliage on that hybrid!
Only way to be sure that you get straight C. seidelianum seed would be to get 2 non-related plants in bloom together at the same time.

Paul's right, it doesn't self. I've been able to cross it with Ae. orlandiana and correia-araujoi, and you could probably also cross it with similar Canistrums like C. fosterianum and still maintain some leaf markings.

Darn, but those sound like some interesting crosses, Lisa how about some photos, please.
