That looks pretty good, it looks like you have used a cable tie - if that is the case it will probably damage your plumaria/frangapanni over time.

I have used ribbing to tie broms to trees after reading an earlier post from Kerry, it works well, it is like a elastic ribbed material that comes in various colours or you could use old stockings.

I have nailed a couple of miniture Neo. Firewheels to an old log that have coloured up well since growing epiphytically.

Rick, you're probably right. That was my first plumeria mount and I didn't think about that. Plumeria are almost weeds in my mind. I hate the falling leaves and they don't do well in hurricanes. However, the one type I have has a very attractive flower with an awesome smell so I put up with it.

It's not big surprise than zonata, fireball and the like mount well, but I want to try something different. I was looking at my available pups and I think I'll mount these:

Nid. innocentii
Nid. 'Francois Spae'
Nid. fulgens
N. 'Donna'
N. 'Modern Magic'
GuzVriesea 'Garden Party'

WL how is Modern magic growing for you? Color?

Modern Magic hasn't done so well since it got a lot bleach on it (don't ask). I don't think this one is a sun lover so I'm looking to put up in a tree were it will get quite a bit of shade and a hard life. I just took a good size pup off it this morning. Here is what it looked like when I got it.

I still haven't put 'Modern Magic' on a tree since I only have one pup at this time and don't see any more on the way. This pup was getting a lot of light in the summer, but since the sun moved to the south it's been getting only strong indirect light and is looking pretty good.
