I would just have 3 broms. They will outgrow your tank very quickly.

Yes, doing a terrarium is very practical & can be very attractive, however your choice of plants is not, eg: pineapple will grow to about a 1mtr unless you used Ananas nanus, a very small growing ornamental pineapple.

Best bet for a terrarium of your size selection would be Cryptanthus (earth stars), mini Neoregelia eg: fireball, ampulacea & all it's varieties & hybrids etc., small Vriesea's like Vr. carinata & hybrids, Vr. Gunther, Vr. Rio Red etc., some small Guzmania's do fine especially Guz. lingulata & it's hybrids etc.
This list could just go on & on, the main thing to consider is for maximum effect, use small growing plants & lots of them, not forgetting a lot of broms. are epiphytic (grow in/on trees) so make room for a log eg: from acquarium supplies, attach a Neo. or two to the log to give some height, or even Broms. on a rock is good.

Attach plants using Maxbond, Liquid Nails or Gel Grip etc.
Do not use water based glues or silicon.

Do NOT use treated pine for your piece of wood.

Ananas nanus is now Ananas comosus var. ananassoides however you will still find it for sale mostly under the first name.
