pineapple question

A couple of years ago I started planting my pineapple tops from store bought pineapples. This summer 4 of them have produced a pineapple. Two of the 4 developed a 'slip' from the plant and I have left them to grow (they're getting very big) but the other 2 did not develop a slip. My question is, should I just pull these 2 up or will they eventually grow a slip or what? Frankly, I running out of room and I need to plant the new tops. Thanks for your help. Jim

Treat the pups like you did the tops and they should root easily. Its still plenty warm enough to start them now.

Once I got hooked on homegrown pineapples I quickly ran outta room. Accept no substitute. Keep critters at bay.
