Hi Nev,

The first one looks very like Ae. 'Gympie Gold', a Margaret Paterson hybrid with parents Ae. gamosepala and caudata var. variegata. I grow it and it forms large clumps quite quickly. See below photo.

I don't know what the second one is, but Peter Franklin of Newcastle could probably tell you.

The third one looks very like one I grow which was simply labeled Ae. cylindrata hybrid. My guess is that either Ae. gamosepela or maybe caudata could have jumped the fence as the dad? Here are two photos of my cylindrata hybrid, which I think looks very similar to yours.

Hi Nev, we must have been reading at the same time KEZ.
I was not sure of 1 & 3 but number two looks very like
- Aechmea Julian Nally.

Which is flowering at present.

Richard, we might have different plants labeled as Ae. 'Julian Nally', because mine by that name have a much denser inflorescence than Nev's, and usually don't flower 'til late September/October for me.
