I think #4 is Neo spectabilis variegata; you will sometimes see it tagged as Neo Jalna also I think. But there is no record of Jalna from what I can see.

I will leave the rest to the experts in here..

#2 is Aechmea recurvata. #6 reminds me of my Aechmea 'Mona', a cross of fasciata and serrata, but I cannot make a positive ID, it could be many other things.

#1 is a Billbergia hybrid. It looks similar to some crosses I've done with Domingos Martins and sanderiana, so those would top my list of suspected parents, but I can't say for sure.

#2 is either a form of Ae. recurvata or one of its hybrids. There are a lot of recurvata cvs, but they all like sun.

#3 I'll leave to the Vriesea experts.

#4 I agree is Neo spectabilis variegated. I've never heard the name "Jalna", but it seems like this cv. deserves a name.

#5 looks like Ae. victoriana v. discolor.

#6 is some kind of Ae. fasciata hybrid, not sure which one. It could be Mona, but without a flower it's hard to say.

Hi Dan, I agree with Lisa on the I.D'S of the plants ,the Vriesea No3 piccie is a bit hard to say ,there are so many look alikes in that type , i wonder why they keep doing that sort of thing, however it looks a bit like 'Grafton sunset' when its flowered in to much shade (its normally more orange in the spike)Photo no 5 is not Ae"Royal Wine" my vote is for the Victoriana discolor , cheers Jack

Hi All...re #4...I was close, but wrong with the unreg name..

There is one listed by a friend of mine on ebay at the moment and it is known in our area as Neo Jaffa, not Jalna.

Nice plant whatever the name. Ok enough trivia...
