Gary, there is one other color variant called 'Spanish Gold' due to it's yellow petals. Check out the short article on "Uncle Derek says" on the FCBS.
I'm not sure how many forms there actually are (I grow 6 different) but it couldn't be more than 10 I'd think. I can't answer your other question since I'm way over here.

Thanks for the info. One more question are they really separate species or just color varients?? How can you research Tillandsia without hundreds of species?? I can't find any subspecies within usneoides.

Gary, usneoides has no subspecies, just different forms. These are caused by the different climatic conditions in the areas from where they exist. The Spanish Gold is the only color variant. I don't understand your question regarding researching tills without 100's of species? The FCBS is THE site to go to when looking for photos (and other tidbits of info) on/of bromeliads.
