Just got air plants

Hi,

I just bought 3 little air plants Saturday at arts and craft fair. I have no idea the name of them, but I'm sure they are very common. (3 for $5.00) The lady gave me a care sheet and said I could 'plant' them on anything. My question is - do they need to be hooked onto something porous or can I put them on a piece of Petrified wood?

I have several on petrified wood,they look very nice that way.

Ho Piper,
You can attached the to anything. I know someone who has glued one to his cap and wears it around the garden.
