| I've been trying for months to find any online source for one of these carnivorous broms. No luck whatsoever. I live in Southern California and kind of doubt I'll find it in any store around here. Does anybody have any suggestions?
I've been able to get a small Brocchinia reducta but no luck with Catopsis. |

| Opps.....left this off the post. Being endangered will make it hard to obtain unless someone has cultivated them |
|
| I just purchased one about a month ago on ebay, though I had to pay $50 for one the size of a seedling, but I don't regret it. I haven't seen one up for auction since(as I often search for other catopsis species), but I would try there. Come to think of it, I think the name of the ebayer was westcoastexotics. Good luck. |

| William: $50 is a lot more than Brocchinia reducta seem to be going for. I got a seedling-size plant for about $10 a while back... matter of fact, that might have been from WCE. Anyway, like you, I'd pay $50 for a C. berteroniana because they seem to be in extremely short supply. |

| Hi ltecato, it was a Catopsis berteroniana that I purchased. It definately is worth the price due to their short supply. I have been searching ebay for other catopsis species since and haven't seen anymore C. berteroniana up for auction(there was another auctioned by the same person immediately after I won mine). |

| I just noticed that there are two of these on ebay right now. They are the same size as the one I got a couple months ago. |
|
| I noticed them too a couple days ago. Just when I was about to give up! |
