The man who discovered Dyckia Dakota

Sadly my friend, David Meade, the man who discovered Dakota lost his battle with multiple illness and passed away Sept. 7, 2011. I will miss him always. He was a good, good friend and one of my mentors in bromeliads. We had many fun and educational conversations about multiple topics over the years.

Rest in Peace my dear, dear friend.
