Tillandsia I.D. required

I purchased this plant about 5 years ago, as an "unknown". It has developed a stem of some 80cm in length, and never shown any sign of flowering. It guess I am keeping it in too much shade...? Any suggestions...???

Probably T. incarnata, which can grow to long lengths like yours. T. chartacea var. chartacea looks similiar and is starting to appear in collections. A lot less water would help your plant, they prefer it dry.

Devo, the first photo shows a 4 foot long T. incarnata on the left and T. tenuifolia "Bonsall Beauty" on the right. The second image is T. chartacea var. chartacea while the last pic is a normal T. chartacea.

Thanks Gonzer....I reckon Till. incarnata is the closest match. I like the way you've got yours mounted up on cork bark...I have a few bits of this around here somewhere, so I'll hunt around, & get this one stuck on & moved to a better (dryer) location. Cheers.
