If by "Red" and "Yellow" you are speaking of their bloom, the blooms will fade eventually. Any chance of a pic?

tlbean2004 - It doesn't matter what colour your plants are; from what you describe it sound like that plant has rotted.

I don't know what the consumer protection laws are in your country but if it was here in Aust. you could take it back where you bought it from ASAP and ask for a refund or exchange which any reputable store should give you; but take proof of purchase with you.
