Bromeliad Nurseries in Orlando Area?

Posted by AbbyFL FL (My Page) on

I am new to these boards. I have a small collection of bromeliads and am looking to add more.

I will be Orlando FL in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone knew of nurseries that have a decent selection of bromeliads on sale to the public.

I have been to and adore Tropiflora in Sarasota, FL, and know of a few other places in South FL.

I did a search and found a few places, but most of them were wholesale only.

I'm mostly looking for Neoregelia, but like Aechmea as well. Does anyone know of a place in Orlando I could check out?

If you will be there the weekend of Oct 13/14, USF in Tampa is having their fall plant sale, and there will be a number of Bromeliad vendors in one place. Go to and check the botanical garden's website.
