| It's been a while, but I have finally gotten around to taking some photos of some of my newer bromeliads. Here is a group of some Orthophytum hybrids & f2s. Most are less than 2 years old.
Hope you enjoy them, Paul close up photos of some of the individuals.
This one looks a lot like a Dyckia- ...and then this little variegated surprise! |

| Hi Paul, Good to see some of the results of your Orthophytum endeavors, really cool, especially "variegated surprise". A real beauty. The range of patterns and colours (sorry for the UK spelling)is particularly attractive for me. Your Ortho hybrids have come on since your post almost a year ago on the "other site". I don't think you included the variegate that time. It always amazes me how you manage to grow such a wonderful range of broms in Z6 conditions in Farmington Hills, MI. I have been meaning to ask you for a long time for some photos taken in your greenhouse during the winter. I remember your post near Christmas 2008 when you said there was a foot of snow and temperatures of 1 Deg F. Some photos would help inspire us temperate climate growers! Good to see you on as "MI_Broms" as well. Regards, jadgee |

| That's a nice grouping. Always nice to see the results of people's hybridizing. |
