When the flower first came up, it had a real pretty blue intertwined in it. Not sure what happened to the blue?

The blue you saw were the actual flowers of the plant and they did not last very long. The pink you see now, is the floral bracts, some sort of protective leaf structure, that could last for months, even more than a year and the colour intensifies with age.

HA, I see that little guy. I moved this plant from my deck into the garage when we had some cold temps this week. I hope he hangs on tight, I wouldn't mind him living in the GH this winter. But I sure hope he doesn't hop off and end up in the garage where he cant get out.

The plant needs light even in winter. If the garage is dark might want to move it to the GH
