Central Florida recommendations please. Air plants.

I'd like to start investigating some air plants to attach to a grape vine wreath.

My plan would be to over winter the plants on the wreath out doors, only pulling them inside if the weather is going to drop below freezing for a sustained time. Generally speaking we threaten that each year, but maybe only achieve that for 1 to 2 hours perhaps 4 or 5 days of the year.

We are coastal central florida.

Can you recommend any air plants that might fit the bill ? I know there is a "recurvata" I believe (or similar) but it is a little "wispy" for my taste. I'd like something with a broader leaf if possible.

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Try looking at FCBS.org for Tillandsia or try contacting a bromeliad supplier near you. Florida has many. EBay also has a lot listed.
