The socond possibly a A. fosteriana hybrid.

I think 'Friederike', like 'Fascini' is spineless, but the flower does look similar.

I keep wanting to say Bill. Strawberry for your Bill - I can't find a picture of the flower, from my crappy memory it has bright green stamens with bright yellow or orange pollen. The fact that no one else has jumped in probably means I'm wrong.

Re. the Bil. If your in the Qld Brom Society try asking Olive Trevor. The Billbegia looks like one of her plants which are sold at the Rocklea Markets by her son. I bought some from him a few weeks ago and they all had the same brown marks on their leaves that yours has.

That's pretty much where 70% all my plants come from. Just about every Saturday I start the morning early with a 6am trip to the Rocklea markets for my morning Brom. Yes I got the Billbergia and the Aechmea #2 from him. Most of those plants are normally labeled but those two were not.

I don't think it is a B. Strawberry- The unknown billbergia is too compact. See this link here to another thread, there is a Billbergia there thought to be 'louis wilson'- it looks a lot like the one from the Rocklea Markets, it is the most similar labeled plant I have seen.
