| No, it's an Aechmea hybrid, Gonz. One of the ones with recurvata as one parent and victoriana v. discolor (or Foster's Favorite or something along those lines) as the other parent. FCBS shows several possibilities: Black Flamingo, Black on Black, Pica, Dark Crystal, Betty Pfeuffer among them, but there are probably more. I think Hummel may have done some others like that besides BF, but I can't remember the names. |
