I have a sugarloaf pineapple that is almost three years old (no fruit yet) anyway it has about 6 pups around the bottom of it, the smallest is 3in and the biggest is 7inches and i was wondering if it would be bad to remove the pups from the plant right now and if so when would be a good time? thanks in advance, Danielle

For most bromeliads, 1/3 size of the mother plant is the recommended size for removal. I personally havent grown pineapples but have grown a few thousand other broms. I think it would be much the sameÃ¢ÂÂº

ps, leave the pups a couple of days before potting up so they dont rot.
