Hi all,

I've discovered a mealy bug on one of my tillandsias. I've read about treating by submerging the plants in alcohol diluted with water but can someone tell me what the ratio of alcohol to water is?

And it's rubbing alcohol right?

I don't know if alcohol is good on Tilly's but I think you can use Dawn and water. Dawn ratio weak 1/100. Then rinse plants and dry. If Gonz pops by here he will know for sure.

Just dip a Q-tipî into the rubbing booze and dab the offending pest. HD's recipe is OK but there's no reason to get the entire plant wet.
