Super Spot

Super Spot (or is it superspot?) is a beautiful single dark pink brug. There is a famous picture of someone holding a cherry tomato next to a bloom of the same color. These late september blooms are the first for me on this brug, and the color is very dark pink, pretty close to red. It starts out white and ages to this color. It must like the cooler weather to color up well, because I know a few people who were dissappointed when theirs bloomed rather light in color. It has a nice, symmetrical shape and pleasant fragrance. I can't say much about the growth habit, mine is new this year and already had a y when I got it.

Excellent colour on yours. Environment, camera's ad monitors play a huge role in the depth of colours portrayed by Brugs and their photo's, not to mention the natural light when the image was taken. I really had that hit home when I took pics of a single bloom I had with my camera mounted on my tripod over a 10 hour period. I took 19 pics and you would swear they were 10 different blooms due to the difference in the natural lighting change over the 10 hour time period. You can not always count on a single image to give an accurate hue or depth of colour and I don't mean any attempt to misrepresent it either.

Wonderful! I have seen SS bloom in a lighter tone so it's great to see how much darker it can get.
