| Hi everyone,
Though a NOID, this beauty has been with me for years. A rescue from a hospital planting, efforts to obtain a cultivar name or the grower's location failed. It reaches 8' + each year, and perfumes the night air with an intoxicating scent. For those of us in temperate or cooler regions, here's to the final bow of these incredible plants for the year. Cheers,

| What a lovely fragrance in the evening you must be getting right now, rescued or not! |
|
| Just a little bit further south from us, and you can enjoy them for so much longer. Mine are inside now. I had hoped that they would be out for the Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend, but alas Mr. Frost paid several visits the past few days here. |

| Ruth Ann & jroot - It is heaven!! And, fortunately, I'm enjoying yet another flush. Here's hoping we stay frost-free for a few more weeks, as there are even more buds to come. jardinerafloridana - This is a Brugmansia; note the difference is the flowers hang down, where Datura flowers point up. Once you see them both growing in the garden, it's easier to tell them apart, even when people post the photos upside down!! (It happens) |
