Especially the gamers...did you all survive yesterday? lol

But before this thread gets to hot...here they are, my hot lips :

Oh how I miss them...I used to love my hot lips...and as time went by...so did the hot lips roflmao

What a great salvia. I'd heard of the variety but didn't know what it looked like. Just might have to get seeds for that one in the spring.

Mine still have a hint of green. Lucy, prune it in the J months to keep it bushy.

Hot Lips is a great plant it does get huge tho.. I lost mine to the cows.. I didn't see any in the stores last yr..

I thought it was a pretty one. Though as the temps and location changed...so did the colors. Mostly they came out all pinkish red :-(

Man I thought I was gonna see something dirty, lol. Hahaaha. Needed that laugh. I love your hot lips! Roflmao again. I ordered a baby one last winter but it didn't survive the garage.

This was the second year for it. 1st year I only had it in a pot and it grew fairly small.

Then I popped it in full sun in the ground and it grew very nicely. I sure hope it comes back. Isn't it a perennial?

maybe I figure out how to root it and send the ones who like it some :-)

Its not as hardy as some varieties they say. Once its big enough it should be better though. My other salvia is very hardy. If I pin a piece to the ground with a brick it roots very easily.

I have a second year Hot Lips that you can have. It was supposed to be a Fire Trumpet Salvia, but is a Hot Lips. Not that HL isn't lovely, but I already had two ;-)
