| I just got reminded that so many of you are having horrifying weather!
Is everyone ok?
I hope that if you are struck with unreasonable weather dissasters, that you will come out of it fast and ok!
Prayers are going out to all in need.

| We're ok here so far...Rained again last night REALLY heavy...They did evacuate part of town, which included my brother so he ended up at my folks house...More rain coming today and I hope the dikes hold...The river goes over on the other side of the river before our side, but we do have a good sized creek behind us that they're watching...It's the river that's the problem though for most people...I'm going into town later today so I can see what it all looks like. They even closed Interstate 5, the main freeway going north/south for 20 miles about 40 miles north of me. Wow, just don't be like our horrible flood of '96, that's all I'm asking!! We just got another weather alert so I'm gonna go check it out. knotz |

| I'm also worried about losing some of my plants in the ground to rot...Maybe I can go dig some up, naw, it's too wet!! Also haven't heard from Karma so I'm not sure how she's doing down there...She's farther south, but I know they got hit with some of it. knotz |

| Not too bad. We didn't get all the ice they were calling for & it didn't get as windy or cold as it was supposed to either. It is 25 with the wind chill now & that is about normal for here at this time of year. We might get a half inch of snow (big deal) today & it is supposed to be snowy & windy through tomorrow & more snow for the weekend. They salt the heck out of them so the main roads are dry. I'm staying inside & looking at seed catalogs. Linda |

| Caren I hope that it will not repeat the 96 flood. Be safe and the plants can be replaced. Gosh I would be scared to drive around. What if you get swept away ? Kristy now that would not be great if Karma is on vacation and her garden needs her in case of bad weather :-( Karma hope you are ok!! Here, it was downright HOT and now if I tell you I had to water because everything was way to dry...will you hate me? Lucy |

| WOW...Lucy that is crazy. It is freezing here and we are in another snow storm. We are supposed to get up to 8" by tomorrow evening. We have so much snow I bet we have 40 or 50 inches on the ground. ha ha. I love the snow but these below zero temperatures are wearing me out. I hope everyone stays safe. | Yes it was a beautiful day and I had to work all day even though I was planning to sneak off it didn't work out, lol. Talked to Karma and she isn't on vacation but was shopping for a new camera today and getting presents from everyone including the dog, lol. Its not her birthday is it? If so Happy Birthday if not you are just lucky, lol. Everyone else stay safe. I feel so sorry you all you cold weather people. I am a cold wimp, lol. |

| Oh my gosh TJ. I do not blame you for being fed up with the weather! This would really cut back on my outdoor fun and a time to get winter blues. LOL lots of shopping and getting more blues because eventually you got to pay up roflmao I hope the bad weather goes away for ya all soon! Lucy |

| Yesterday and today, not bad, just cold, in the 20's but a storm is expected tomorrow. I wonder what time my power will go out? LOL |

| Good luck Karyn. I hope you don't lose power. Caren I'm glad the river is dropping. I saw on the news last night they had to evacuate a whole town in Washington because of the flooding. Poor people. Supposed to be very warm here today then another cold front for the weekend. No wonder everybody has been sick. |

| Thanks Kristy....One of the towns was us, well on the other side of the river...It got pretty bad over there...Our neighbor has his pump going pumping water from under his house...I asked my hubby if we should be doing the same. I don't even want to look under there, but I'm SO thankful it didn't get into the house!! Good luck to all you others who are dealing with this strange weather...My prayers are with you all!!! knotz |
