In 10 years of growing and hybridizing these plants, I have never seen a brugmansia naturally pollinate and produce seeds. Thats not to say that it can't happen. In South America, they are pollinated by a moth. I believe this is why they evolved to release their fragrance at sunset. I currently have 27 ripening pods on 9 mother plants. These plants were hand pollinated in order to produce seed pods. It is also worth mentioning that it takes many months for these pods to mature.
