How many more plants are you going to get? Maybe you should just rent a U-Haul to go home in. LOL

Thats so cool Karyn, Glad you got lots of plants.

It's too cold in the Mid-Atlantic to put plants in the mail. Even if someone unpacked them as soon as they were delivered to my house they'd have cold damage. I order from Gardino often during the year but buying them while I'm here saves the delivery charge. I'm allowed 2 checked bags per person on Southwest Air and Kyle and I only have 1 each so I'll count a box of plants as a piece of checked luggage. If I had more greenhouse space I would have bought more plants.

Sounds like quite a haul. You will have to share pics of them when you get back. Sounds like some cool stuff. Have a WONDERFUL time on your trip. We are all living vicariously through you for something to cheer us up, lol.

I did not know that you can take plants on the air plain. That's cool.

Pat you can't carry them on but you can check them with (or even in) luggage. Citrus cannot be transported without an inspection stamp and even with it they can't be brought into CA or AZ. You can't transport many varieties of plants into Arizona and California regardless of an inspection sticker. I understand the deal with citrus but not many of the others.

I once had a friend from Michigan buy a Brugmansia while in Florida. She flew it home with her in a box the size to ship golf bag and clubs. Maybe that is the size box you need Karen. :)
