That's why most of us in the cooler zones allow our brugs to go dormant over the winter. They can be bug magnets when stored inside or in a greenhouse. Sounds like you have it in a good temp for dormancy. Have you stripped the foliage? You can keep it in a cool dark space. Just make sure that you really limit the amount of water it gets. You just want enough to keep the roots hydrated, maybe a cup or two a month. If the soil remains moist it will lead to rot under cool conditions. Good luck with your brug. Stick around here and you'll end up with way more then one! LOL

Yep., it pretty much stripped it's self ! I just wanted to try NOT leaving it in the studio with all the other plants.

A few leaves are still there and all is OK..... I also potted up others just in case.

I'm in zone 5a, it's a challenge over the winter. But, I always give the brugs a good systemic insecticide and it keeps those rotten spidermites and other critters at bay till they can go back outside. I left 3 of my brugs grow this year, only putting one into dormancy, but took it out already hoping to get some blooms before summer gets really hot.
