Brugs Blooming and other pics!

hi all my brugs have started blooming again and here are some other pics as well. hope you enjoy.

By the way its only 4 varieties of brugs that are blooming but i took many pics of it. The red brug is mountain magic, the first brug pic is of a white brug that grows in the forest of Trinidad. This is the first time it has bloomed for me. i dont know the names of the other two brugs.

The second pic is of the tetrio sphinx larva pupa. it pupates in the soil or in leaf mould.

The pics of the variegated hibiscus mutabilis has 2 grasshoppers on it. When i took the pics i only saw one. It wasnt until posting this i realized there were 2 !!!!!

The color of your MM is so intense. I wonder what variety the wild brug is? I think that all sphinx moths pupate under soil or leaf litter. I've sliced more then a few in half when digging in the garden with a shovel. Yuck! Your grasshoppers are much nicer looking then ours. Ours are ugly. Yours look like our katydids. Everything looks great. I still can't even see the ground here beneath all the freaking snow!

Beautiful pic's.. Your weather looks so very nice and warm..We are suppose to get snow tonight and tomorrow..:O(
The hibiscus mutabilis is one of my Fav's I have a small one that has been semi dormant and just now putting on new leaves..Yours is Beautiful.. Thanks for the pic's

Siam, I give up, where is the 2nd grasshopper, LOL! Your MM really colors up nicely, and the variegated hibiscus is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your garden.

Siam, Your pics are soooo very pretty...as usual! You
have that THING in your hands ...and... you're afraid
of SNAKES?????? I'm not really squeamish about most bugs,
however.... I don't like that thing LOL.
Your collection is so nice, especially the hibiscus.

Margaret that's just a chrysalis/pupa, albeit an ugly one, but a sphinx moth will hatch out of it. I bet you wouldn't have the same aversion to a monarch chrysalis because it's pretty. lol

Thanks everyone. Margaret, yes im terrified of snakes. i hate them!!!
karyn, your right, i used to get grossed out by some caterpillar larvae until i started connecting them to the butterflies they turn into. Now im collecting host plants for them!!
