Hello there C.B.
It's good to see you posting here again.
Your NOL is a beautiful one.
The background looks like you are going to have another beautiful yard this year.

That looks great! How much pruning did you have to do to get that shape and how long did it take? Mine is such a bushy shape.

Karen, This Standard is no more than 4 months old.

I Taken a side shoot that were growing straight
up and cut it right before we had our first freeze
back in December2010.

I let one NOL grow in the ground as a standard and she got 10 ft tall and I couldn't reach the flowers lol! She does like to get tall. Yours is beautiful.

Chocolate Brug, New Orleans Lady was my favorite brug, the smell was divine in the evening. I hope you missed the cold artic freeze that hit Texas. Your plants are just beautiful, do you bring them inside during the winter? Barbra

Chocolate Brug, I think I will put mine if pots this year too, that is if any survived. I had them covered with 2 sheets, when I removed the sheets they were just limp. I will wait to see if they come back from the roots in the spring. What size of pots do you use? Do you have to use a dolly to move them around? Barbra

Chocolate Brug, do you cut off all the branches, and just keep one main stem ? I am still trying to get blooms as lovely as yours, I know I am doing something wrong. What size of pots do I need to buy? Barbra
