surviving Cuttings

Guys I have some cuttings of Brugmansias that survived the freeze, today as I went to water them and get them out of their house, I discovered they are FULL of ants!!! should I use granules to kill the ants? should I hose them down till all soil is gone too?, and then replant them, will the drowning kill my plants? for now I put them in a plastic pool with water hoping the ants leave.Or should I use the white powder that is supposed to work within hours a day at the most.Thanks for the advise.

I'd say to wash all the soil off them and replant them...There may be ant eggs in the soil.

I agree with Knotz. Just get rid of the soil.

Hi thanks Today I went to repot the brugs so far I have washed out 2 and they did not have any ants, I am goimg to repot the others(3) I was just worried that they might go into shock, but seems that I worry needlesly the repoted brugs look happy ,I repoted this morning around 7:30, since its rainig out here I guess they like the rain water in addition to being transplanted.
