If you nighttime temps are 50 or higher I'd put them outside now. I'd add some epsom salts with the first watering. If you have Cal Mag Plus use that instead of epsom salts and use it with every watering. I'd also give it some seaweed extract or compost tea or even a top dressing of compost. I don't use fertilizer until I see foliage growth but some people do. It's just a matter of preference. Don't overwater. Let the plant tell you when it needs a drink. I'd wait to cut it back until you see where new growth is coming from unless you are sure that a stem is dead.

Our Karyn has given us the best advice again. It sounds like your brug might have died back. If you look closely, sometimes you can distinguish between the dead tissue and the living. I've noticed that the dead tissue looks like it's peeling, grey & shriveled,or a hard, dried up brown stick. It seems to die from the top down to where the living tissue is. Just my experience anyway. If your roots remain alive, and you increase it's warmth & sunlight, you'll be surprised how your plant will start sending up shoots & leaves. Sorry so late replying. Ive been very busy. Thanks to the both of you for you help. I'm hoping for the best. I have one in ground already. No sign of growth yet though from it, but one has a few tiny green leaves and I hope to put it in ground soon.
