Bucket of Brugs question. Please help.

I started a cutting of about 2-3 foot tall in a bucket of water like I had read on the site. I changed the water frequently thus far over the winter. The roots are groing like crazy.

My question is, since this cutting is so used to having water constantly, how do I handle it when I am ready to put it out this spring. Do I chuck it right into the ground or what?

I really need advice as this is my first year ever with brugs. I only got to enjoy them for about a month last summer, have over wintered a few others in pots along with this bucket of brugs.

Any help on how to introduce the potted brugs and bucket of brugs back outside would be most helpful.

Also, since my potted brugs are dormant in a utility room outside, would you bring them inside the house and start getting them used to warmer temperatures or not? Last frost date is in April, and I so want to do this right and have them ready to go outside. When should I start watering and giving fertilizer again?
