Silver lining maybe?

When I accidently let all my plants freeze I may have made an awesome finding. All of the new growth on all of the plants was frozen and all but one of my seedlings were killed. I figure the temp got down to about 16 Degrees F.. I was looking at the disaster and lo and behold, a seedling (KBS x Rothkirch) is just as perky as if nothing had happened. It was right in the middle of everything that froze. Are there any Brugs that are supposed to stand that kind cold? I am amazed. I plan to grow this one out and propagate it so I can test for hardiness. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could find a cold hardy Brug?

Fortunately, I think most of the plants will come back in time. I just lost all of the head start that I had. Some were cuttings 18 - 20" already and I had about 30 of them that I was going to give away for postage.

Most of my wintered over plants should be fine in time.
