| What is it with these people?? Don't they have their OWN picutres?? And it's the SAME seller who 'borrowed' my 'Xena' image! Has she NO shame?? This really, really angers me!!

| I'm with nixonk...watermark it. I'm telling you, these people are unbelievable. I wanted to use a picture I found on one of my website articles, and I wrote and asked, and the gentleman was so lovely, he said sure, as long as I gave him credit for the picture, and thanked me for asking. He had an invisible watermark on his picture, one of those that tracks back to your site if someone else uses it, and he had had 60 people attempt to steal that picture! He said he usually changes the names of the pics once a week, and those that are linked directly from his site (bandwidth thieves as well) will get a "This Picture Was Stolen From [his url]". The thing is, most of these plants are not even allowed to get large enough to bloom before they are snipped and rooted, so they have no pics. |

It cements my feelings that these people are not on the same planet. I have written this before, that I contacted them about pick up , as I am less than 15 miles from the selling location, due to freezing weather, and was refused. I think they are an extension of 2 other places in Michigan, that are real shady. I am almost tempted to purchase something from the 3 , just to try to pinpoint the mailing address, but don't want ANYTHING from them. It would only promote the dishonesty. They need to be boycotted for the picture stealing alone.....

Mike bless your heart,they are always stealing your pictures,something should be done,if they asked it would be differant but to just take it thats not right,can you get it pulled?

| Mike did you notify ebay about the picture? This has been going on way to often lately and when reported usually they pull the auction. Good luck. Oh never did hear back from the guy in Kingwood, didn't think I would - oh well |

| Mike are they getting your pics from the other brug forum? That is terrible. Makes you wonder what they are selling. I swear would it be so hard to ask first? I would be honored if someone wanted to use my pic but only if I knew for sure that it was the same plant and they asked first. |

| I emailed her - again!! I must say I was not as nice this second time as I was the first time - but not to mean. :) Just matter-of-fact concerning the use of my images! I just got home from work a little bit ago. I checked her listing a few minutes ago & see she has edited the picture THREE times! lol! I'm wondering where she's getting her images now. I hope I don't have to go through this again! I've thought of watermarking - but seriously, why should I?? People should respect others enough NOT to just 'borrow' an image of something and use it as their own. It's just not right! If someone were to ask first - I'd most likely say yes! :) Sorry for the rant - but I feel better now that she's removed it! :) Mike |

wow, what great pics !! i can see why someone would be temped to borrow them , but to actually do it , is another story. i agree its a shame that pics have to be water marked to be protected , but i have started marking all of mine . i have had my pics used in uk and german ebay sites, without my permission. i have used others brug lovers pics , but i get permission and send them plants, for its use . if you get any real good pics of phanomenia or phanomenal , or angels sunbeam , let me know . i want to steal your pics too.lol lol sorry i just could not resist.

| Mike, your pictures are gorgeous, I can certainly understand why she would want to use them. It isn't hard however to contact the owner and ask permission. There is a trader on another forum who puts her name in the photos and I have seen this done on others as well. I don't know how to do it, but you might want to consider it. Linda |

| I feel your pain! I have had pics stolen and they wer not as gorgeous as yours! I emailed the seller each occasion and they said they would use any picture they found on the net and no one could do anything about it and to "get a life"! I did get riled over it but let it go. Too much stress for me |

i wish i could dangle it in front of you , but i do not have one yet . i have seen this one bloom out several times , when i visited west palm beach . it seems to be a heavy bloomer , nothing like hhg. i really hope to get this one soon ! if anyone has it , i will trade any brug i have for a start . |
