Variegates almost always produce albino seed.. They won't live. New plants are sports of other plants or they are propagated for the mother plant..

All white means they are not producing chlorophyll which they need to survive.....so they basically starved to death internally. not your fault.

WOW! I love coming here to read up posts and learn from you guys, this starving situation is new to me but then again I know nothing about this kind of thing, I must research the palnts life for I need to learn quite a bit since most of my bruggies are coming back to life, last year I traded with Prince Albert variegated brug cutting and so I planted them in pots overwintered them but they looked dead so I started watering and low and behold they came back! So now I transplanted them in the ground not thinking now I am worried for I had bought a variegated brug in Elgin and had her in ground well she froze and did not came back but I know I have all summer to enjoy the brug in ground, my plan as of today is to plant all my brugs in ground and winter come take cuttings and root inside thru the winter. any sugestions?

Here is an albino seedling. This is one of my real old pics from a experiment a few yrs ago at BGI on tongue grafting albino seedlings to green seedlings to see if we could get them to bond so the albinos could live off the green ones.
