New Comprehensive Columbian Datura Virus Study Released

The International Brugmansia and Datura Society (iBrugs) has recently obtained the USDA's new report on the impact of the Columbian Datura Virus on Brugmansia. You will be surprised to learn that the virus may be more widespread here in the United States than previously thought.

Wow I am suprised that so many tested positive for the virus.
I wonder how many would test positive from random people's gardens or from seedlings of hybrids instead of the same old cultivars that have been in circulation at the 'popular' nurseries.
It is scary that the Datura also showed infection because they are generally started from seed every year so that means it could be passed via seeds also?

Thanks for posting that study. It is certainly food for thought.
