I have been absent way too much from this forum.

Some of you know I do income tax prep that keeps me busy Dec-April. On top of that, I got very sick in Dec-Jan, then again on April 15th, altho not as bad. A coupla weeks into the first illness, when I had turned the corner and was sorta on the mend, my hubby came in and asked me if I had thought I was gonna die during the previous two weeks, I laughed and told him I was too sick to notice. He was a trooper and took such good care of me- I am so appreciative to have such a wonderful partner!

The other thing is that I am on FB too. I just have to tell ya, for me it is a PITA to load my photos into photobucket, then attach the little link for each photo. And it still does not work for me. My photos end up being huge. I am basically lazy and way too busy to reduce my photos to thumbnails that some gardening forums require, also, so I go the path of least resistence.

First blossom of the season was a triple seedling from Patricia Watson- I cannot find that photo from April, so I am waiting for the next buds to do their thing and hoping the plant hangs on to them in our May heatwave.

I will get some photos when I get a chance, and when they are not hanging down from the heat!

Miss y'all. I will check in more often now that tax season is over and now I am all better!!

Good to see you back Brenda.
I'm glad that you are feeling better.
I too have ben remiss in my posting.
I have a couple of brugs about to bloom. I hope they do it before we move to the coast. I don't think they would handle the ride too well.

BTW first Belle is in the ground & looking great
I have several new seedlings, also in the process of moving
the other house sits on half an acre, enough room to have a huge Brug bed beside the the driveway entrance, it's a pain too have to mow a 1/4 acre with a push mower

LOL, Elizabeth, yeah, who needs grass when you can grow brugs there!!
Are these seedlings from your own crosses? I remember you were playing with the idea of hybridizing. I am just now getting my seeds going. Only 5 months late!! ;-) Being sick like that made me put them on the back burner. This is the first time I am starting brug seeds when it is warm enough for them to be ourside! Unique experience!
First Belle is still a first in my books!!

PA, it has been a long winter, and as usual we rush right into summer. I look forward to seeing everyone's brug photos, and garden photos during a brand new season!

Glad to hear that DH took good care and you are feeling better. I also just started my seeds, late as well. Why are you teasing us. Post your pics!

Brenda, so glad your tax season is over and you can bruggy (boogie) with us! Sorry you have been sick, and hopefully that is a thing of the past.
