NO.. It will be an annual for you. Once the blooms stop you will get seed pods ..Loaded with seed!! Wait for them to dry just pluck'em.. Careful tho they are spiky!!! LOL and toss them out the next yr or you can get a jump on the season by starting them inside.

I grow these from seed every year and Kylie is correct, tehy are annuals for us.

Tip** keep pinching off the small pod behind the bloom once it starts to fade. Only let them ripen in/after September, this way it will keep sending up more and more blooms. The pods are poisonous so just make sure you wash your hands when handling them. Pods look like spiky walnuts, they are pretty cool!
