Another newbie says hi!

I just bought my first brug. It's called Full Rosea and is described on the website as "Very fragrant; double pink flowers". Very fragrant is what I'm after :)

If someone shares the right image code I'll post pictures of mine. I got it ~May 20th as a 4" plant in a 4" pot and so far it thinks it's playing the plant lead in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' I immediately put it in a gallon pot and it needs a 5 gal about now. I started in in mostly shade and have steadily given it more sun. I took it in under lights for a week of rain and night temps in the low 40s, even high 30s. I've been fertilizing it, doing my basic care research just in case but so far, so good.

Sorry so many of you regulars have so many orthopedic problems. Hope it's not a Brug toxicity thing! :)

Hi rcanter and welcome to the brugs forum! Nice of you to share your photo. I have a "Full Rosea Magic"- could that be the full name of yours? This German angel is very hard to find in the USA. I started out with one plant last year, and took cuttings of it. This spring I have many plants started from it, and they all are pretty tough and vigorous. Pests don't seem to bother this one. I almost got a bloom, but we had a storm, and it fell off just before opening! I just had to peel it open, and it had 3 skirts! I've got the biggest plant in ground now, and it's growing by leaps and bounds! Won't be long before I get more flowers. Now I know what to expect! Thanks!
Oh- on the side, I injured my hip socket by repeatedly swinging my right leg over the steering wheel of a very large garden tractor, to get down from it. Too busy to slow down and get off the right way! So, no- it's not from brugmansia toxicity! :)

The site I bought it from just lists Full Rosea so that's all I know. Thanks for the welcome. The photo is from the site I bought it from.

rcantor, welcome and you've got a beautiful brug! Hope it grows, and blooms, quickly for you so we can see photos. Since the photo wasn't yours, I think you linked it correctly. I use photobucket when I post my own pictures and there I find, and use, the html code to post here.
