Moving and want to take my Angel Trumpets with me

We are getting ready to move and the house will be put up for sale and I would love to take my plants with me they have been planted in the ground for about 6 or 7 years. Is it possible to dig them up and transplant or at least get cuttings now and root them. Since not sure I would be able to get cuttings this fall.

Sure but A plant that old could have a root ball 2 ft in diameter. I would take the cuttings at least 3 of each right before you move look for wood about 3/4 in , on newer but not still green bark , cut just above a node at least 8 in long.

Agree with rednofl, you can take the entire plant and put in a large pot, or root cuttings now and plant in smaller pots.
