I usually use a more balanced fertilizer on my younger plants but I don't think the bloom booster will harm anything. The NPK ratio is the same as a root stimulator.

Thanks karyn! I don't think I'll ever get all this straight! *LOL* I hope you don't mind if I ask one more question....so, would it be better to use a balanced fertilzer on grown up plants as well?

I usually use a bloom booster on my mature brugs but am now thinking that just about any type of fertilizer might have the same effect. I ran out of bloom booster and was just using a balanced fertilizer and there has been no difference between the plants that have had the BB compared to the balanced one in terms of blooming. At this point I think that brugs will do well just as long as they are fed regularly. Other types of plants are more discriminating. Brugs just want food. lol
