Hi Dotty, I find this happens to mine especially when the leaves are really large, I'd move it to a location with a tad less sun, see if this helps. What colour is it when it blooms if you got it from another gal in Nanaimo I might be able to help with the ID.

Nice to hear from you Annette. It is a peach colour and it was the first one I bought from dinter's nursery. Very vigorous grower and it does have huge leaves. I'm wondering about moving it to quite a shady place to see if it will be happy there. Have you tried this?

I had this NOID in morning sun, dappled shade in the afternoon. I no longer have this one but picked up 'Sunset', another one with variegated leaves at Dinter's last week, it already had flower buds :). The colour of the flowers on the NOID aged to a pale peach. Annette

If your pot is a dark colour, it holds the heat far more than a light/white one would.
If your pot is on cement, bricks or patio stones, they allget hotter and retain heat more than soil does.

Try moving your pot to the grass or the garden and see if that helps with the wilting. Better yet, plant the Brug in the ground if you can, this keeps the rootball much cooler than any pot can.

My frosty pink wilts if its hot. Its in a protected spot next to the house and I water at night. It perks up. Mine is in the ground though. They are pretty adaptable. I see several others in the neighborhood in full sun and little water that do great too. In pots I would think they need to be in cooler spots to not bake in their container.

thanks all. I did move the plant to a place where it wasn't getting reflected heat from patio and building and it does seem happier. I'd like to plant it in the ground but our ground is so dry and hard I can't make a hole big enough! right now it is blooming and I'd forgotten how heavenly the scent is. I think these plants like much more shade than is suggested by many sites.
