My Beavis was an 18 year old husky that apparently had a brain tumor. I thought that all of the clumsiness was due to his age. He was a huge part of our lives and we will miss him.

Goldens are so pretty and good dogs too. I'm sure that your sister is heartsick. Give her a big hug from me.

That Taro does look like colocasia illustris. I have some I got at a swap too. It really does make a garden look tropical. The leaves burn in direct sun though. It doesn't kill the plant, but even a direct ray that gets through the trees in the afternoon will burn the leaves.

Those striped Cannas are pretty, saw them on Monday at Lowe's and I'm thinking of going back.

My taro must not be colocasia illustris because it gets 6-8 hours of direct sun and it's leaves look great. As a side note, I went to the botanical garden in Fort Worth today and saw a Blue Taro that was taller than me! If I only had a greenhouse.
