It's big enough that I'd severe it now and either root or compost it. I thought you had a variegated brug that fully reverted to a solid which has happened to me a couple times. I've had brugs that were variegated when going into dormancy and were no longer variegated when they broke dormancy.

Me too Karyn. I just posted after your post. I'd cut it away and start a new plant. Might have nice flowers like the parent!

Thank you. I have sedum Frosty Morn that when I see a green limb I cut it out or the entire plant will revert. I was thinking that would happen to this plant. It is big and growing like a weed. I think I will take your suggestion and cut it off.

Karen I had an exact color of almost all white on this Brug like your pic. I thought it would survive the winter because I do not let my Brugs go totally to sleep in the winter but I swear I think this is the stem that has turned totally green.

I wonder what triggers brugs to put out variegated foliage or to revert to a solid? With some plants it's a virus but I'm almost positive that's not the case with brugs. Maybe one of the experts will answer. With Snowbank I know it's a tissue culture tetraploid plant but what about naturally occuring variegated foliage? Do they also have double the number of genes? Did Terra Nove use colchicine or something to produce a tetraploid plant? If someone can answer this please do it in a way that I can understand what you are talking about. lol
