Sounds like you have Datura Devil's Trumpet. Brugmansia, also called Angel's Trumpet,flowers usually hang down or out to to sides. Won't survive you zone. Do the flowers point up? Datura reseed themselves all over.

I'm inclined to agree with Theresa. You have daturas, not brugmansias. A brug won't survive the winter outside in zone 6 but some daturas will return/reseed.

Datura you can trade for in the seed trading forum. I've seen folks trade them off. I recently got double purples from someone. Waiting for fall to toss them out where I want them to grow. I should probably count how many there are.

I want to get several different colors, just haven't caught the various trades I've seen. :) So keep peepers out on the seed forum. Also in the plant forum, you might see some there, I'm not sure though.

Tina don't winter sow the double purple datura seeds. They aren't cold hardy. You can start them early inside or outside after the last frost.
