What's eating my Datura?

I know this is about Angel's Trumpets, but where else do I ask about Devil's Trumpets? I know Devil's Trumpet is poisonous, but whatever is eating it doesn't know it. Nor does it/do they seem to be dying from the effort.

Two weeks ago, they stripped the leaves off the plants. Last week, we had our first bloom, albeit the bottom was cut off a bit, because that was chewed on, before it bloomed. We had two more blooms since and three new buds. (The photo shows the third bloom.) Last night, something pulled the buds off and left them on the bottom of the pot.

Any clues what's going on or how to deal with this? They're poisonous! This shouldn't be happening without little dead bodies somewhere near by. lol

I know. I keep thinking, "It's poisonous! This can't happen!" BUT, it has.
