Did I Mess Up?

I cut the leaves of my brugs where they Y'd because I had broadmites and I was afraid they would eat the buds. Will I get more buds since I have done this? How long will it take or am I stuck with 4 blooms for the rest of the year? I have sent for some forbid, maybe a little to late. Ellen

As long as you didn't cut the buds they'll probably bloom but it's a good thing that you ordered the Forbid. Removing the foliage wasn't necessary but what's done is done. It shouldn't affect further growth as long as you eradicate the mites.
