You don't want to plant a whole pod. A datura pod can have over 100 seeds in it. Put the pod in a paper bag and allow it to dry and split. Hopefully the pod was ripe when it was picked. Even if it was close to ripe allowing it to dry in a paper bag should give the seeds time to ripen. I assume Morocco is warm year round so the seeds can be planted at any time. Once the pod has dried take the seeds and press them about 1 cm into moist soil. Don't let the soil dry out but don't keep it soggy, just lightly moistened. You can start them inground or in a pot.
