more flowers opening

Cherub opened a few new ones today, Santa Rosa is at the start of a major flush. One open now, pure white. We'll see what color it is in a couple of hours. I love when the mottling begins, looks like a heat rash, only pretty!

Oh guess what? A friend gave me a rooted cutting of his white brugmansia NOID. I got a tour of his garden yesterday and it's so beautiful. They have the touch over there.

Okay I couldn't wait. Here's Santa Rosa - the white flower turned pink overnight and look what else is happening!

So I'm doing the happy dance, I've never had a flush like this EVER! SR is very very happy inground, I will definitely do this again.

That's beautiful! Congratulations on the huge flush of blooms.

I'm excited over half that many buds. Mine aren't opening yet, but I keep looking.

Its beautiful! I had high hopes after all the abnormal rain and cool weather but the heat is back and they will probably drop. I would have had a bunch with real flushes for once, lol. Wish I was in a little cooler summer time zone or at least regular rainfall, lol.

Don't feel too envious, this is not the norm for my brugs. I don't think I had much last year and then I sprayed roundup on Cherub! She's making a slow slow comeback planted in my vegetable garden though!

Lol, I'm glad she made it. I think I have Cherub too. Gotta go try and find it. The writing rubbed off of some of mine and it made me soooo mad. For once I didn't lose tags but the ink disappeared instead on some, lol.

Both are beautiful. I haven't had a decent flush yet, only a few blooms at a time.

Beautiful flowers - bravo. Just out of curiosity, is Santa Rosa fragrant? I have two brugmansias - one that blooms only at night and one that blooms during the day. I definitely prefer the one that blooms during the day and am currently looking for a pink day-blooming variety that is fragrant and Santa Rosa looks like an awesome candidate.
